The Ground is a Shaking

OK, so today at approximately 1:41 p.m., there was an earthquake near the Ontario/Quebec border. And it reached us in Cleveland, OH. That’s right; C-Town was rocked today.
My buddy works in downtown Cleveland and his building swayed. And so did my wife’s building, located about twenty minutes away.
According to a report by the USGS, it was a 5.0 magnitude earthquake. You can view their full report here. Initially it was considered a 5.5 magnitude, but was later downgraded. Apparently it could be felt as far as 300 miles away. Yikes!

YIKES! I’ve always wanted to “feel” an earthquake…..out of the path of danger, of course!
A blogger from Ottawa reported it on Facebook earlier. It was a first for her.
I felt one in NC in 2003/2004 can’t remember exactly. I thought it was a dump truck going by. Wasn’t as strong as this one.
…didn’t Obama say in his inaugural speech that he was going to lower the oceans and calm the land…??? Was he lying to us?
We felt it up here too. I was in the middle of a photo-shoot when the entire room started rattling and shaking. I still don’t know what to make of it, I’ve never gone through something like that. They first said it was 5.5 but the official report was 3.5
Yep. We had an earthquake. Apparently they adjusted the earthquake to be around a 5.3 My entire house shook and my dog flipped his lid. I wasn’t scared, I was excited to actually be a part of a natural disaster.
What’s weird is that I’ve been living in L.A. for 6 years. Have felt exactly 1 earthquake out of prob 20+ that others around me have felt —- I either slept thru or just didn’t feel.
I’ve never felt an earthquake – glad everything is okay and it was just a small thrill 🙂
Who cares… This whole story is made up… No earthquake hit C-town! I liove in C-town and feel that this whole story was nothing more than a publicity stunt!
