I love the quote “pop quiz, hot shot” made famous by Dennis Hopper in the movie “Speed.” And I’ve used it countless times over the years when asking questions of people. So along those lines… Pop quiz, hot shot! What happens when you allegedly drive your car at 3 in the morning, swerve through three lanes of traffic, get stopped by the CHP and have a blood alcohol content of 0.20? LOL. YOU GET ARRESTED!
Yes, that’s right ladies and gentlemen. Actor, Chris Klein, was arrested yesterday morning after being stopped by the California Highway Patrol. He was previously convicted of DUI back in 2004. Klein became famous after playing the character “Oz” in two “American Pie” movies.
However, there’s more bad news for Klein… He had his dog in the car with him, which prompted the group “In Defense of Animals” to attack. They told TMZ, “By choosing to drive under the influence with his dog in the car, Chris not only put innocent drivers in danger, but broke a promise to be a protector and guardian to his pet.”
Hey Chris, let’s go out and drive at almost three times the legal limit. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. NOT. Moron! Have fun getting those animal rights people off your back now…

He’s the prettiest man I ever done saw. Ha! I forget what movie that’s from.
But he also better get help. Another celebrity who thinks they can do anything, even outside the law.
I would agree that this is a legitimate complaint for two reasons. First, because people make the daily decision to drink and drive. Second, because some people think they’re above the law.
This guy isn’t even a good actor BTW.

Animal rights people make me want to go to the APL and buy a puppy or a kitten. I could do a weekly blood sacrifice in support of these organizations and put it on youtube or something.
You’d think these people have never swatted a mosquito in their lives. Oh wait, that is somehow different. Bugs aren’t animals in PETA dream world. They are too small to have feelings, maybe.
If your drinkin.. don’t drive, and if your going to drink and drive… “Drink Pepsi” wasn’t that a catch prhrase at some point and time. I know it was my prom season back in 1998. Seriously don’t do it. Why do so many think that they can get away with it “just once”. You should check out my local paper (www.thedailyreview.com) and check the police blotter. Every day there are atleast 3 DUI, and at least 1 to 3 times a month there is a fatality, or severe injury caused to it. The sad part is that the drunk isn’t lucid enough during the accident they usually end up unscathed.
As far as APL, I understand the ethicial treatment of animals, and in this case, I actually agree with them. But when it comes to other areas of life (hunting for population control) I have to disagree.
SOme animals do really go good with gravy and mashed potatoes.

I hope the guy gets help with his drinking problem…his problems with PETA pale in comparison to his living the sad ass life of a DRUNK!
Too bad they don’t have “party plates” for him in California. That would be embarrassing….
Again, this raises the question for celebrities who are caught doing this — why not take a limo?
