Wow, the comments on the last post got a little heated. Timmy, you certainly know how to rile people up – that’s for sure. But in the same breath, at least you speak your mind.
So I thought I’d lighten things up today with another edition of “The CC Says.” This is a segment where we can have a little fun, discuss some new movies, declare what we’ll be seeing and/or make fun of the stupid ones.
In the above-title, when I said “He’s Back” I was referring to Mel Gibson. We’re starting with his new movie today.
IMDB says, “As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.”
The CC says, “I’m glad to see that Mel has recovered from his infamous “sugar tits” comment and incident with the police. I’ve always been a fan of his and I think this movie looks intense and like it has a lot of twists.”
IMDB says, “Drama is set in 1954, U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island.”
The CC says, “Leo DiCaprio can do no wrong in my book. Plus, this is a Martin Scorsese film. This movie looks suspenseful and eerie. I’ll be there opening night.”
IMDB says. “A young ninja turns his back on orphanage that raised him, leading to a confrontation with a fellow ninja from the clan.”
The CC says, “Are you f*cking kidding me! A studio paid money to make this movie.”
