Tyrant in the Classroom – Guest Post

September 7, 2009 by admncc

Here at The Constant Complainer, in addition to my own posts, readers can submit Guest Posts on topics they’d like to complain about.  Now with that being said – like him or hate him, Neo Con Don is back.  That’s right; Don submitted the below-Guest Post.  His complaint is the special school broadcast planned for Tuesday.  Normally for a political post, I’d encourage readers to either engage and comment or choose another post to read (if politics isn’t your thing).  But in this case, even if you don’t like to talk politics, you may be a parent and you may have something to say about this.  So, if politics or the speech tomorrow is on your mind, enjoy and without further adieu, here’s Don…

On September 8th, the tyrant in the White House has asked every public school to broadcast a special message he wants to give to every school age student in the country.  Before I go into why I agree or disagree with the appropriateness of the president’s game plan, I think it’s important for me to establish the premise of my opinions of him.

First, I believe that the president is a fascist.  He has an admitted communist serving as one of his czars, and other progressives embedded in his administration that serve directly to the president and have no congressional oversight.  I would not allow my children to be in the same room the man.

But, this is not the first time a president has made an address to schoolchildren.  President Reagan did it in 1986 and H.W. Bush did it in 1991. So not only is there a precedent for this, it was done by a conservative and a moderate.  Everyone would agree that their messages were appropriate, and were likely used for political gain.  Based on Obama’s plummeting poll numbers, he needs this for two reasons.  First, if he can give a speech based in conservative ideas, he’ll likely win back some of the independents that he lost and will be able to give his unconstitutional national health care plan some life again.  Second, there is an entire group of new voters coming out of high school, and nothing gets young people excited about voting than solid conservative ideas.  During the campaign, Obama’s numbers were highest when he acted like a conservative.  Still, this speech is a political mistake.

I think that the reaction coming out of the right is a little over exaggerated.  He doesn’t have the political capital to give a left wing progressive indoctrination speech, and he probably never will again.  His toadies will keep doing it for him, and that agenda will keep getting rammed down our throats.  In the mean time however, it’s important for parents to use this particular political mistake as an opportunity to teach your children about political liberal and progressive lies.  Let them watch the speech, and discuss it with them when they get home.  Explain to them that he has surrounded himself with some very questionable people.  Compare what he says to that of his voting and speech record.  My guess is you could explain to a child that if you say one thing and do another, you are lying, misbehaving, or both.

We live in a country where our founding documents protect us from the gov’t.  The cruelties of liberalism and progressivism will never be able to succeed under those circumstances.  Socialism and communism can encroach on our liberties, but we’ve always had the ability to reset ourselves and get back to our constitutional principles.  The late great Milton Friedman told us that socialism could succeed in this country if it weren’t for the inefficient socialist bureaucrats running it.  This latest attempt for political gain is a mistake, and I’m giggling.  I love watching him fail.  When he fails, America wins!  I can’t wait for September 8th…comrades.

  1. TallElf says:

“Let them watch the speech, and discuss it with them when they get home.” is the crucial part of that whole process.

The discussion needs to take place to see what they got out of it, not necessarily what you think they should get out of it, or even worse off, get them out of it and keep them home.

How are people supposed to raise free thinking children if they moderate EVERY experience that they have.

  2. Marsha says:

The speech is worrisome, but what is more worrisome will be the discussions by teachers after the speech.Young people today are predominately shaped by teachers in public education, which is not only awful, but politically biased toward socialism, public employee unions, multiculturalism, and class warfare.

  3. NeoConDon says:

    wow…a conservative values speech…imagine that.

Unfortunately, Tall Elf, the public schools are not building free thinking scholars, they are indoctrinating our children with white washed history, and mathematics is taught with environmentalist wacko story problems filled with lies and propaganda.

They are not being taught how to think, they are being taught what to think, and are ridiculed for stepping out of line.

  4. Sugar says:

He gave a motivational speech. He told students what they needed to hear, what they should be doing. They need to take responsibility for themselves regarding education. They should have goals and reach for something better. What’s so wrong with that?

  5. Dan says:

Yeah, Sugar, you go. Put NCD in his place. This post was over the edge and out of touch. It shows what happens to someone when you lose touch with reality.

  6. Hal says:

If the title to this post isn’t a turn-off, I don’t know what is. But anyway, Mr. Neo Con, sir, if you please, did you even read the speech, which was put on the Internet in advance for reasons just like you raised? And I’d like to know examples to support your comment about kids being ridiculed for stepping out of line in school. I think you are making a mass-generalization there.

  7. NeoConDon says:

Thanks for you comments Hal. I did not read the speech, I watched it live, and just as I predicted, it was a speech you would hear from Reagan, Thatcher, Churchill, Gingerich, and other great consevative politicians. There was noting wrong with what he said, and I didn’t expect there to be. The problem that I have here is where does he think he gets the authority to invade our public schools? It is not the fed’s job to get our children better schools. It is the job of our local school boards to do that.

As for the ridicule issue. If you have children in public school, ask them to try to organize a prayer group, or bible study group during study hall. Or ask them to try to engage in a discussion of providing proof for evolution to their “science” teacher, or try to discuss as a class the evidence behind intelligent design vs. Darwin’s lack of a theory of the origin of life. See if they can start an anti-abortion group (not a pro-life group). Then let me know if they are ridiculed by the administration in school for stepping out of line.

  8. The Constant Complainer says:

Marsha, welcome and thanks for your post. I agree with you. I used to worry more about what kids my daughter would meet at school. Now I worry more about who is teaching her. A tough dilemma!

  9. Sugar says:

NCD- you wouldn’t be complaining about this if Tony Robbins had given the speech.

I’m glad that the President of the United States is concerned and involved with motivating teenagers. Hopefully the message will get through to some of them and they will challenge themselves to be better.

  10. NeoConDon says:

You’re right about that, Sugar, I wouldn’t be concerned about it if Tony Robbins had given the speech. I don’t think Tony Robbins is a fascist either, so that certainly plays into it. Still, there’s something a little 1930’s eastern european about this whole creepy thing.

***update*** my kids just walked through the door. They did not view the speech today.

  11. Extreme John says:

It was shown at my daughters school today and to be completley honest with you I could care less, Im more pissed off and annoyed at the little piece of paper my daughter brought home that asks for all kinds of personal information.

I hope that I have raised my children to think on their own at the highest level they can, and when they feel that they can’t we than discuss whatever it might be. I spoke with my daughter about the president thing, honestly it was hardly cause for me to be alarmed… she’s not hurt, she’s not mentally screwed up because of it and she’s hardly brain washed.

I guess I will spend more time on what actually matters like that piece of paper asking for all kinds of personal information.

  12. MajorLeague09 says:

I don’t understand why everyone is getting so upset over Obama’s speach. He wants to encourge kids to stay in school and graduate. How awful to have a president that wants to encourge our children to do good in school. Think about all the children out there that need a role model, someone to tell them they need to stay in school and get there diploma. I didn’t hear Obama tell the kids to vote for him in 4 years. Only to apply themselves and concentrate on there school work. I can tell from the other comments you guys seem very involved in your childrens lives and that’s great. That what kids need, unfortunetly some kids don’t have parents that will encourge them and teach them what they need to know. It seems like no matter what Obama does, people (republicans) reject it or make mountains out of mole hills. Enough with disagreeing just because the idea comes from the opposite party. It’s time for everyone to get over themselves and try to find solutions for our countries problems.

  13. NeoConDon says:

I disagree with him not because he’s from the opposite party, but because he’s a fascist. When he comes up with an idea that’s good for america, I’ll agree with him. Until then, I hope his fascist agenda fails…When fascism fails, America and freedom wins!

  14. The speech was not shown at my school and though I was happy with the decision to not show it live and unviewed, I would not have kept them home if they had shown it.

I don’t agree with Obama’s politics and think the controversy swirling around this type of thing should be kept away from kids. I wanted to be able to view the speech first before I made a decision and I did so today. He obviously kept it to topics of school only, and I will take the time to show it to my boys later in the week. But would have never allowed them to sit in a group at school and watch it live and unapproved by the school. That’s just me.

I opened this discussion on my blog and was surprised that the vast majority of commenters were offended it wasn’t being shown live. The thing that puzzles me is, why is it so important that this was seen on live TV, vs being viewed and approved first by school administrators? It seems odd. Is it just me?

  15. NeoConDon says:

It’s not just you Jennifer Juniper. It IS odd.

All politicians do this type of thing. They do something that seems harmless, or even good spiritied, yet odd. The next time, it’s not so odd. The next time you don’t even know it happens. This is the nature of liberalism, progressivism, socialsm, fascism, and communism. Nikita Kruschev, former communist soviet leader said this in 1959…

“We cannot expect the Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism.”

  16. Tristan says:

People aren’t against the speech, they are against the speaker. Obama’s ideas are either too old or too new. Just like W., he’s allowing banking institutions to loot the American people. We no longer tolerate debt, but he keeps pushing it as the answer to our problems instead of the source and is transferring massive amounts of wealth from taxpayers to bankers.

With the things he might be doing right, he’s too early. He’s acting like FDR, but it’s 1929. We don’t want FDR yet. By the time we do, Obama will have left a bad taste in our mouths and we will no longer trust him. Timing is everything. The next president will probably go down in history as the greatest of our time (that or our nation will collapse).

(As an aside, I wonder if the Republican Party sabotaged their own campaign for this very reason…hmmm…maybe that’s why they picked McCain and Palin…just playing the history game)

While the X-ers were neglected for most of their childhoods, the trend is now moving toward the overprotection of children. That is why this absurd overreaction is taking place. We are not going to let anyone with questionable integrity close to our children. But this distrust in leadership is nothing new–think Hoover, the Civil War, 1776…make or break times. That time has come again, and Obama is on the wrong end of it.

  17. Bill says:

Is it me or does Don just try to be extreme because his point is weak?

  18. NeoConDon says:

That is a brilliant point regarding the McCain/Palin ticket…But I don’t think the people that were running the republican party from 2006-2008 were smart enough to put one of the most liberal republicans at the top of the ticket to. The media did that and the independents and liberal republicans nominated him. I seem to recall someone writing a brilliant column on this very blog about it and predicted this exact thing in my first guest post entitled “The Liberals and the Alcoholics”

    http://theconstantcomplainer.com/?p=11

I also discussed the results of electing King Barry to the Presidency in “Now Comes President Pelosi.”

    http://theconstantcomplainer.com/?p=59

I’m predicting a Clinton comeback in 2012…but on the Republican side!

  19. NeoConDon says:

    …it’s just you Bill.

  20. Bill says:

Don, when you can discuss an issue intelligently without using the terms “socialist”, “tyrant” and “fascist”, let me know.

  21. NeoConDon says:

Wouldn’t it be unintelligent of me to refer to His Royal Highness, King Barry the Great as anything but a socialist, tyrant or fascist? I could go with Marxist, but today’s indoctrinated youth might think that being a Marxist is okay.

If it talks like a fascist, acts like a fascist, hangs out with fascists, and promotes fascism, changes are it’s a fascist. Simple math…

  22. Zig says:

NCD, you can’t say a word about Obama’s speech, because you cannot be impartial and see it for what it was. You went into the speech hating on the speech and the speaker. You say, “First, I believe that the president is a fascist. He has an admitted communist serving as one of his czars, and other progressives embedded in his administration that serve directly to the president and have no congressional oversight. I would not allow my children to be in the same room the man.” What a load of bullshit this is…

You are going into the speech looking for something wrong. When you couldn’t find anything wrong with he speech, you said it was a Conservative values speech! Conservatives haven’t cornered the market on moral behavior. You are full of yit. Obama can do nothing to please you or the people like you. Luckily, you and people like you are in the minority in this country. SHUT UP!

  23. Tristan says:

Zig, Obama is running a -8 approval index at the moment. 0 would be even, positive would mean the majority approve. Distrust of government is climbing to a feverish pitch. I don’t see anything wrong with his speech, but it is obvious by this unreasonable response to his plan to speak to children, as presidents have done in the past, that he is quickly losing favor. He certainly has fallen from his +30 at the beginning of the year, when people were buying the whole bailout/stimulus/green shoots charade.

I remember your telling me to climb aboard the “liberal wagon of good feelings” or something to that effect. I think I’ll stick with my “doom and gloom train to hell,” at least it’s reliable.

  24. NeoConDon says:

Sorry Zig, but there are more conservatives than liberals in the voting role…that includes all the made up people and the fake people the acorn fascists make to try to steal votes….

  25. Mike N says:

Quote: “As for the ridicule issue. Then let me know if they are ridiculed by the administration in school for stepping out of line.”

Hmmm, there’s a little thing called separation of church and state… maybe that’s got something to do with it. Not so much because of the evil liberal brainwashing teachers… dumbass! It just pisses you off that public schools don’t allow prayer groups or don’t teach creationism because it doesn’t coincide with your beliefs. And why should any child organize an anti-abortion group??? What they should be focused on is being kids for Christ’s sake. If the conservatives didn’t wholeheartedly believe in the failing abstinence only sex education programs, there wouldn’t even be the need for an anti-abortion group.

And what the hell are you even complaining about with this stupid post? You say that there was nothing wrong with what Obama said. You say that past presidents have done the same thing and have set a precedent. So why the hell can’t Obama do it??? Because you don’t like him, that’s why. You’re such a hypocritical moron.

  26. NeoConDon says:

Wow, Libby is back…incorrect, but back. Students can organize a prayer group or bible study group in public school…it’s illegal to prevent it, but it’s difficult to get it done. Seperation of church and state is a mis-interpreted idea, and has been lied about ever since the world’s newest religion (darwinism) was invented. It is a progressive lie that has been told to our school children.

I’m complaining about the president. It is spooky for him (or any president) to want to speak to school children without a parent being able to change the channel. But it turned out that the conservatives were correct with the assumption that he would lie and attempt to indoctrinate our youth on that day. In his private meeting with highschool seniors, he pushed his illegal health”care” plan. How about separation of state and school…The president needs to play the role of president, not teacher or motivator. That’s not what he was hired to do since he’s not qualified to be either. I wish he would go back to ACORN and teach hookers how to cheat the tax system. Everyone in his administration is qualified for that job.

  27. Tristan says:

The whole czar thing is getting completely out of hand. One in particular, Cass Sunstein, is about as extreme as they come. He twists the Second Amendment to imply that only government should be allowed to be armed, though it explicitly states that “the right of the People to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” He also believes that eating animals is cruel, though it is ok for animals to eat each other. He even insists that dogs should be able to sue their owners.

What is interesting here is that these are not elected officials, but appointees by the president. Just makes him look worse than he already does.

  28. Zig says:

It is funny that some of the biggest group of protesters are the one’s who would benefit the most from a change in the Health Care System. Why would people be so adamantly opposed to change? Unless, they were poor white trash, zealots who believe that the Federal Government is in the business of hurting it’s citizens?

Why would students want to, as you say, “Students can organize a prayer group or bible study group in public school…it’s illegal to prevent it, but it’s difficult to get it done.”? This is a freaking ridiculous idea, even for you, NCD… God is out of the schools. Religion has no place in the public education system! For you to raise this idea just shows how much of a misinformed zealot you are!

NCD, you are an idioit! You say, “It is spooky for him (or any president) to want to speak to school children without a parent being able to change the channel.” Are you serious? You are just a dumbass! What about you hero Regan? Or, George H.W. Bush, Clinton or your buddy W.?

NCD, you can complain about this president as much as you want. Your buddies on the repunkilican side of the isle seem to be doing just that. Change is here and chage will be here until 2016!

  29. Tristan says:

Zig, it would take 12 hours of surgery to remove your head from your ass. When the shit hits the fan and you are covered in the filth you have been peddling for years, remember what I’ve said. The change headed our way is the darkest you can imagine, and you will have welcomed it with open arms.

  30. I had an opportunity to speak with the superintendant of our school yesterday. I think she made some good points as to why she chose not to show the speech live.

She was made aware of the speech by parents’ phone calls on Thursday Sept. 3rd. No attempt to contact the school administrators to set this thing up was ever made by any official person regarding this speech.

When she contacted someone through the dept of educ. later that day, she was told the particulars and that no information would be available for review until Monday (Labor Day). This was the day before the speech and a holiday when schools were closed.

For her to have time to arrange to show the speech AND provide an opportunity for students to opt out, she needed at least a week to communicate with the families and work out a system.

The ability to show a live speech to many thousands of students simultaneously at noon (lunch) was nearly impossible to arrange in such a short time.

Finally, she wasn’t comfortable putting the spotlight on the students who’s parents did choose to opt out. Teachers and other students would judge that student on the actions of their parents. There was no anonymous way to do this.

She responded to upset parents with the following message:
“President Obama’s message to do well in school and take responsibility is a timeless one. It means the same thing on Wednesday as it does on Tuesday at 12:00. It doesn’t expire. This message will be the same whether it’s heard on live TV or later in a taped version.”

    I have to agree.

  31. Zig says:

Tristan, who the hell are you? Why is my head up my ass, but you are allowed to peddle your shitty, fear evoking lies? I would have to agree that I am not always correct in my rants, but I ALWAYS comeout on the side of “what’s good for people with less and the little man.” My rants are based on my belief that what goes around comes around! So your mean spirted, nonsensical rants will definately hurt you in the long run. If you stop parroting NCD’s ideas and thought for yourself, you would see what a horrible man and a horrible human being conservative thought has made NCD! I knew NCD when I could actually stand to sit in the same room as him and talk for more than 2 minutes. Now, he is just a horribly annoying, irresponsible, mean spirited, predjudicial crybaby!

Be sure there is Change headed our way. It is not the Change of which you speak. The change on the way will lift all people, make us all more equal and make us all richer for having experienced it! I am ready for the change and if you will embrace the change I can not think any less of you than I already do! Get a clue, Redneck!

  32. NeoConDon says:

Zig, your ignorance makes me laugh.

  33. Zig says:

NCD, your whole being makes me laugh. My post was quite an elogant synopsis of what is in store for this country. All you can say back is, “Zig, your ignorance makes me laugh?”

You are an ignorant, small minded, fear mongering, blowhard asshole! My vision of the future is quite different from what you profess to know. Why? And all you can come up with is, “your ignorance makes me laugh…” I am sorry for whatever made you into the mean spirted, ugly, pindick you are… I am an optimist. I wish to live my life in the right side of history. When all is said and little is done, I feel safe in saying that my life will be judged well based my actions towards the little man and the less fortunate among us. Can you say the same?

  34. NeoConDon says:

Zig, you’re a cruel progressive liberal nut job working for the gov’t. You claim to care about the little guy, but you don’t. When the gov’t finally gets out of the way of the little guy and let’s him live how he sees fit, then we’ll all be on the right side of history.

  35. Tristan says:

Zig, what you’re selling is not good for the little man. The little man is going to be absolutely decimated when everything we know is destroyed. At one point, I believe you acknowledged that you could not dispute my arguments and that you didn’t care if the whole system collapsed because you are a winner. Well, where do you think that leaves all the little people you love so dearly?

I actually do care about people and have been trying for the past year, since I stumbled upon a few little crumbs of our fate, to convince many to do something before it’s too late. Well, now it’s too late. Just as you say you are, I am prepared, emotionally at least, for whatever may come. Most are not, and when the least among us realizes that his hopes and dreams were all a lie, he will be destroyed.

Keep telling yourself that I am incapable of original thought and that I even share much common ground with Don if it makes you feel better to lump others into groups, but don’t think for a minute that you’re doing anyone any service by blindly supporting The Powers That Be as they herd us into the abyss. I think we’ll be seeing a good deal more evidence to support my position in the next 30 days, assuming mathematical and socio-economical unsustainability of debt is not good enough for you. In case you missed it, millions marched in DC over the weekend…just creeping toward critical mass…how much more will they take?

What’s sad is that the United States has essentially become the Babylon of Revelation 18. If we manage to get into a nuclear war with the East, we might get to see that prophesy come to pass. Things like that make me hope it’s just Depression we have to deal with, though I’m not optimistic, given the moral void that has become of the American subconscious.

  36. Zig says:

Tristan, I do acknowledge that I am better off than 80 to 95% of the people in this country. I wish you luck on your quest to help people realize their financial fate. Am I rich? No. I am just a really nice guy with a big heart! If the country fails financially it will be the fault of people like you! Oh yeah, also, I have a really big Shlong!

NCD, where do you work? I do work for the Government. I do have a pension type annuity, insurance for life, a 401k type savings plan and a really sweet wife. Can you say the same? I didn’t think so, asshole! Do I feel guilty for my luck, yes! Do I want everyone to have the same luck, yes! Are we close to achieving these lofty goals, yes! Insurance for all is only the beginning and will lead the country out of recession! You say I am being cruel to the little guy because I want to provide for the little guy… Last time I had the impolite burden of having to see you in the shower…you were a little guy, pindick!

  37. NeoConDon says:

I’m cracking up…Zig, Obama’s socialist hc plan is not going to happen. Do you really think that the little guy is going to stand for the gov’t to force him to buy insurance or fine him? Besides not being able to hold that up constitutionally, every state but 3 will override it, and ban socialist hc in their state. It isn’t going to happen.

p.s…I don’t need to work, I worked hard and saved money and stayed out of debt. The borrower is slave to the lender; I am slave to no one…including the federal gov’t.

  38. Tristan says:

As far as I can tell, Zig, you’re wrong with pretty much everything you say. As usual, if you have any specific reason to suggest that our economy is going to improve, just say so and I’ll respond accordingly. I’ll start:

Debt cannot be paid indefinitely with more debt. That is a Ponzi scheme.

    Your turn.

  39. Dan says:

    Give it up, Zig.

  40. Zig says:

Doesn’t the Federal Government mandate that everyone who drives a car have insurance? “Next question?” You are so wrapped up in yourself and you debt free, simple, life. Give it up and join the party! Every minute you spend worrying about your ‘debt free” lifestyle is time better spent making money to pay debts!

Tristan, what is this “debt” of which you speak? Do you mean…I have no idea! You are “F”ing nuts. Get a clue. The size of the National debt is peanuts compared to the potential of the United States and the goods it produces! People, other countries, keep lending to us because they all know that our potential to make money, as a country, dwarfs any debt we currently have on the books! The debt from the stimulus, loans to your buddies in big business, will be paid back soon enough with interest! Our coutry will make money on that “Loan.” Any question, you feeble minded chump?

  41. NeoConDon says:

No Zig, the federal gov’t DOES NOT mandate that everyone has auto insurance…that’s up to the individual states, just as the Constitution tells us. The federal gov’t does not have the authority to demand we buy anything. Whether I have health insurance or not is no of the business of anybody but me and my doctor.

  42. NeoConDon says:

I just discovered something I agree with His Royal Highness, King Barry the Great on…

    ….Kanye West IS a jackass…

  43. Zig says:

No, NCD, the Government does mandate you have auto insurance to protect the people you may injure, when you crash into them. States v. Federal…same thing. They are both Government! Tomatoe…Tomatoe! FU!

The reason why YOU, the poor, must have insurance is because my hospital bills keep going up because they can’t turn idiots like you away! If someone doesn’t have insurance, everyone else pays for their care! Look it up, asshole! Any other questions? Get a JOB and stop professing your debt free lifestyle! The only reason you are debt free is because your life sucks! I choose to live and, therefore, I have debt (mortgage and a car payment!

  44. NeoConDon says:

I don’t know how you ever managed to graduate high school Zig. Federal and State gov’t are two completely seperate entities. The federal gov’t does not mandate auto insurance. There are states that do not require it.

As for your second paragragh, it’s none of your business whether I have health insurance or don’t have health insurance. It’s none of the gov’ts business either. You can think all you want that the gov’t ought to provide h/c to everyone, but they don’t have that authority, and they’re too stupid to run it. Look at medicare, social security, and the public schools. All are failures and are run by gov’t.

The day that the federal gov’t delcares that everyone must purchase health insurance is the day we live in tyranny. States will begin to leave the union, and the revolution will begin. Don’t Tread on Me…!!!

  45. Tristan says:

Federal debt is a small portion of total national debt. Total debt is over 350% of GDP–over $50 trillion. Obama’s massive deficits are nothing more than moving some debt from private entities to public ones–privatizing the profits and socializing the losses. You think that this will be paid back and then some. Ok, let’s examine this.

So the federal government takes your future tax dollars by borrowing from China, at interest, and gives it to a bank as a “bailout.” In order for the bank to pay that back, it has to receive that much money, plus interest for China, plus interest to the taxpayers (since you think that will happen), from its customers (and still make a profit). So we, as taxpayers, secure the loan from China, then we, as bank customers, are paying it back, plus interest to ourselves and China and don’t forget profits for the bank.

Don’t kid yourself. The only beneficiaries are those passing the money back and forth in the middle, as they get to keep their high paying jobs. We are paying them to do absolutely nothing. How is that for economic potential? China might get their interest payments, but they shouldn’t count on the principle. Taxpayers are the last to get a cut, but since they are the same people who are paying the bill, as customers, do you really think there is going to be a profit in there? Do you even believe that we’re going to pay it back? We can try, but the result would be the collapse of the middle class and ultimately the economy itself.

Foreign nations, such as China and Japan, realize how idiotic this whole situation is and are NOT buying our debts. That is what stops the Ponzi scheme in its tracks. Once that exponentially expanding monetary base disappears, as it must and always does, the entire system implodes. What is left is a smoldering pile of what used to be the greatest nation in history.

Unfortunately for the rest of the world, they are not going to be immune to our collapse. Our demand for Chinese goods is already gone, as are the Chinese jobs to create those goods. Our humanitarian aid to nations unable to feed their own citizens won’t be far behind, creating widespread famine. Poverty and desperation will be everywhere, setting the stage for the next great war–possibly the greatest the world has ever seen, or ever will see. Does that have to happen? No. Is it more likely than the entire world being oblivious to what is really happening and the Universe slipping into an alternate dimension where the laws of mathematics do not apply? Yeah, a little.

    ***a quote from Thomas Jefferson***

“We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.
We must make our election between economy and liberty
    or profusion and servitude.
If we run into such debt, as that we must be taxed in our meat and
in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and
our amusements, for our calling and our creeds…
[we will] have no time to think,
no means of calling our miss-managers to account
but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves
to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers…
And this is the tendency of all human governments.
A departure from principle in one instance
becomes a precedent for [another ]…
till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery…
And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt.
Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression.”

  47. Zig says:

Lloyd, you and your family are in the 25% tax bracket. You are the working poor! Get a clue. If you are paying too much in taxes, that’s on you, idiot!

Tristan, I like my life. I am a good man. You are a good man. The future will take care of itself… Why all the venom towards the future? Didn’t you know how to plan for an uncertain future, when your buddy GWB was allowing his buddies to rape the system? I am doing well! I only wish I could help my fellow man a little in his time of trial!

  48. NeoConDon says:

    You make me laugh Zig.

  49. Tristan says:

You don’t understand the gravity of it, Zig. Government will likely collapse, taking your livelihood with it. Sustainable government is around half its current size, at best, but getting there is not possible politically. Your time of trial will come soon enough, as it will for all of us. I agree that the future will take care of itself, but that doesn’t mean any given one of us is going to be around to see it.

The more you depend on government to solve your problems, the harder it’s going to hit you when it falls.

School children as young as six being indoctrinated by teachers to praise Obama. You will be Shocked!

This was filmed around June 19, 2009 at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, NJ
