It’s always troubling when a life ends too soon and seemingly unnecessarily. Chris Henry, who played for the Cincinnati Bengals, died this morning after falling out of the back of a moving pickup truck yesterday.
According to TMZ’s story, Henry got “into the back of the truck, in an attempt to stop his fiancée from leaving a “domestic situation” at her parents’ home in North Carolina.”
ESPN released two 911 calls. In one of them, a caller described seeing Henry in the back of the moving truck. She said, “…It’s got a black man on it with no shirt on, and he’s got his arm in a cast…black pants on. He’s beating on the back of this truck window…I don’t know if he’s trying to break in or something. It just looks crazy. It’s a girl driving it.” You can read their article and listen to the entire 911 call here.
The sad part is that apparently Henry had just recently paid for his wedding rings…
I saw this story and it is very sad when someone dies way too young. It seemed that he had some rough times, but was turning things around. It’s just so sad that now 3 children have lost there father. I hope his fiancee has a good reason for not stopping the truck when she had to have known that he was in the back.

The Huffington Post had the following information in one of their follow-up stories:
“A witness has said he heard Henry say, “If you take off, I’m going to jump off the truck and kill myself.”" I truly hope he fell and did not jump.
Between his death and Brittany Murphy’s, it hasn’t been a good week in the celebrity world. Let’s hope things improve with Christmas upon us.
All accounts indicate that before this, he was trying to turn his life around. What a shame.

Charlie Sheen was arrested this morning, according to TMZ, “for felony second degree assault, felony manacing and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.”
