Moron of the Week

January 24, 2011 by admncc

I swear that frivolous lawsuits never get old!  They provide some of the most entertaining blog material that I’ve ever seen.  And as long as we’re giving out our “Moron of the Week Award” here, I’ll continue to publish these stories for your amusement.

Meet Hubert Blackman of New York City.  He is suing a Las Vegas company over an unfortunate dancer/hooker/stripper experience.  According to this Las Vegas Sun article, Blackman said “that that he was on vacation and staying at the Stratosphere” on December 17th “when he called Las Vegas Exclusive Personals to arrange for a stripper to come to his room and dance for him.”  Blackman said the woman “stripped and performed a lap dance for $155 and a sex act for another $120.”  Yikes!

Now here’s where Blackman’s troubles start.  The next morning, he “called Las Vegas Exclusive Personals to demand his money back, saying he was dissatisfied because the entertainer didn’t stay for the promised one hour and left after a half hour.”  He also claimed that he “was incapable of making an informed agreement with the stripper because he was drunk at the time.”  Yeah, saying that you were drunk always gets you off the hook, right?

However, when the entertainment company wouldn’t refund his money, he called the Las Vegas Metro Police, who told him that he “faced arrest for such conduct and was advised to contact the Better Business Bureau.”  Instead, Blackman filed a lawsuit in New York Federal Court asking for his $275 back, for the entertainment company to be shut down and for $1.8M in damages.  You can read the actual lawsuit here.  It’s rather entertaining and filled with grammatical errors.  LOL, instead of suing, he should be looking for a good clinic to test him for venereal l diseases.  And if you’re curious what he looks like, Business Insider posted a picture of Hubert here.

Thanks to Leo Nevoli and NeoConDon for suggesting this story for the “Moron of the Week Award.”

  2. Jen says:

It’s becoming clear why he has to pay for sex acts…

  3. kittycat says:

    Wow it takes all kinds.

Can you say piece of work.

Thanks again for keeping me updated on all the idiots out there in the world. : )

  4. NeoConDon says:

Obviously if we legalize prostitution everywhere, this would be a legitimate case. Who are any of us to say a woman or man shouldn’t have the choice to take money for sex? It’s their body, not ours.

  5. Ha! Moron of the week indeed. Don’t understand why he has to pay for sex….he’s such a smart, and handsome young man.

OK…you know sarcasm when you hear it, right…..right?

    Janet xox

  6. Better that he called the police than take matters into his own hands.

(Ok, maybe that’s not the best choice of words)

  7. Bwahahaha…ditto what Jen said. Some people just amaze me. I’m shocked, but I’m not. I don’t know what to think, really. You’ve stumped me!! 😉

  8. Ron says:

Bwahhahahahahahaha! OMG, I’m dying laughing at Jen’s comment!!!!

I just clicked over on the link you left and couldn’t believe how young he is. For some reason, I was picturing someone older!?!

I don’t know what to say, other than….YIKES!

  9. Alexandra says:

ha ha! I was picturing someone older too. What a douche though.
Just like French people go on strike for everything, Americans sue. 1.8M? Geez!!

  10. Sammy K. says:

Unless he’s getting some kind of surgery/treatment for an STD for the rest of his life, there’s no way he needs $1.8M. This kid is so ridiculous. Ugh.

  11. Angelica says:

Ugh… he WOULD be a dumb ass kid.. 1.8M in damages? That’s excessive. Damage to what? His ego? Good thing he’s young. He’ll get over it. Those are the kind of people I want to just walk up to and jab in the throat.

  12. TallElf says:

1.8 MIL really? Maybe they should lock him up then he wouldn’t have to pay for acts…

  13. Tara says:

Haha. I love how he put he now has a “psycotic disorder” because of the “tragic event” that “had gotten happen.” LoL.

  14. Jen says:

The number of idiots in this country never ceases to amaze me. It’s crazy. I’m surprised he didn’t get locked up.

  15. Zig says:

I think this guy is a hero… Who among us hasn’t regretted visiting a stripper/escourt/whore? I think his guy should be given a medal for standing up to the establishment, which is LasVegas.
