Instead of using the word “bionic” in the title of this post, I should have used “moronic” instead. And clearly, we have a winner for this week’s “Moron of the Week Award.” “A New Mexico man is recovering at a Texas burn centre after he lost a drinking game and had his prosthetic leg set on [...] Over the last year, the “cell phone shots” segment of this blog has really taken off and become a crowd pleaser. If you’re new to it, here’s how it works… Typically it involves cell phone pictures that I’ve taken. We post them and discuss the complaint involved with them. Or sometimes we just post them [...] OK, so today at approximately 1:41 p.m., there was an earthquake near the Ontario/Quebec border. And it reached us in Cleveland, OH. That’s right; C-Town was rocked today. My buddy works in downtown Cleveland and his building swayed. And so did my wife’s building, located about twenty minutes away. According to a report by the USGS, it was a 5.0 [...] I love the quote “pop quiz, hot shot” made famous by Dennis Hopper in the movie “Speed.” And I’ve used it countless times over the years when asking questions of people. So along those lines… Pop quiz, hot shot! What happens when you allegedly drive your car at 3 in the morning, swerve through three [...] As a parent, it breaks my heart to hear about stories where children’s lives have been lost or irreparably changed by accidents. That’s a parent’s worst nightmare! I’ve seen stories where I felt a parent or someone else was to blame. I’ve seen stories where it truly was an accident. And I’ve seen stories where [...] I don’t like to cut and paste stories too often, but in this case, my complaint was already built in. This story appeared in print through McClatchy Newspapers in an article by Carrie Rengers.
